Consider/Discuss Forming a Combined Sixth Grade Football Team for
Black Oak, Hillcrest, Lake Road, and Ridgemont Elementary Schools

Background Information:

This item was requested through and approved by Chairman Rainey to include on the agenda. The concern is that at all of the parent meetings, it seemed there were no issues about removing the sixth grade from middle school football and forming a county team just for sixth graders. This specific issue was not addressed at the special-called meeting on December 17, 2012.

Staff Recommendation:

No recommendation. This decision rests solely with the Board of Education.
